Yeah Yeah Yeahs are set to release their fourth album, Mosquito on April 15th, 2013.

“We would love for this music to make our fans feeeeel something, for it to stir some shit up inside of them, whatever that may be,” says singer Karen O. “SO much feeling went into this record, it was the rope ladder thrown down into the ditch for us to climb up and dust ourselves off. I hope others can climb up it too; we’re excited to share the good vibes.”

Mosquito is produced by Dave Sitek and Nick Launay (working separately), with one track produced by James Murphy. The bulk of it was recorded at Sonic Ranch in Tornilla, TX. Dr. Octagon (Kool Keith) appears on one track.

La banda estadounidense Yeah Yeah Yeahs lanzó este martes el primer video de su último disco, que será publicado este 15 de abril en Reino Unido y se titulará “Mosquito”.

El primer single de la producción, titulado “Sacrilege” ya tiene videoclip, el que es protagonizado por Lily Cole, actriz y modelo británica que ha participado de varias películas y series, entre ellas Doctor Who y Blancanieves y la leyenda del cazador. Además, ha trabajado en pasarela con grandes diseñadores, como Chanel, Shiatzy Chen, DKNY, Jean Paul Gaultier, Versace y Alexander McQueen.

“Mosquito” es el cuarto disco de estudio de la banda, que llega luego de cuatro años tras “It’s Blitz”.
